Thank you for choosing to stay with The Caledon Grace Host House and Self-Catering Garden Cottage. We look forward to welcoming you.
By making this booking you are entering into an agreement with us.

Guests staying at the guesthouse have access to the living room and dining room in the main house. The swimming pool is also available to guests, unless drought and water restrictions prevent usage.

When ever guests stay longer than two nights linen and towels will be changed. If guests need a change of linen before that, please inform housekeeping.

The guesthouse & cottage offers free Wifi.

    – Full laundry Services: washing and ironing
    – Wood is provided for all fireplaces and braai

  • The price of accommodation will be in accordance with your Booking Confirmation.

    We do offer additional event hiring, if you wish to invite and entertain additional guests to guests staying over.

  • We have a number of pets at Caledon Grace including Jessica our potbelly pig. Max the Ridgeback will protect your vehicle, Isis the cat will keep your feet warm and our three legged Beagle Benji.  We also have a selection of chickens that provide us with daily fresh eggs. The President of the chicken coop is known as Oscar, the karate chicken. Our African Grey, Kolda, does not like men and is not bound to a confidentiality agreement. Beware of what is said in front of him, he is known to spill the beans!

    They all have their own accommodation and will not be a disturbance to you.

    We unfortunately do not accommodate visitor’s pets.

  • We unfortunately do not allow children under the age of 10.

  • Your accommodation will be available to you from 14h00. Please let us know if you will be arriving later than 18h00.

    All guests have to register on arrival.

  • Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10h30 on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged.

  • It is a condition of our Municipal Zoning Regulations that no loud or live music is allowed on the premises. Please respect our neighborhood.

    Right of Admission will apply

  • We put our property in your care for the duration of your stay and we shall deliver it to you clean and in full working order on arrival, but request you to protect our assets and report any damages.

    Please use all equipment and utensils with care. The housekeeper will assist you with operation of all appliances.

    Special care should be taken not to drag heavy items such as suite cases or boxes over the old wooden floors.

    Please do not move any furniture around. If necessary, please ask the
    housekeeper and groundsman for assistance.

    Guests will be responsible and liable for any breakages or damages to the accommodation or its contents.

    We do not include minor damages and understand that accidents do occur.

  • We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

  • Should you find that appliances or utensils are not working properly or have any other complaints, please report it soonest to the management for immediate rectification. We are on duty 24/7 and would like to deal with issues as soon as possible to ensure your comfort.

  • This is a non-smoking establishment. This arrangement includes the stoep/patios and entertainment areas.

  • Visitors additional to staying guests are limited to 10 and 2 vehicles.

    If additional entertaining is planned, please inform us. The Caledon Grace does provide additional venue hiring.
